Amelia Preschool
Monday - Friday, 7:00am-6:30pm (full-day)
Monday - Friday, 8:30am-12:00pm (half-day)
The Parks and Recreation offers a preschool program at the Atlantic Center Recreation Center for children aged 3 to 5 years old. Parents have the option of a half day program or a full day program. This is a DCF licensed program. Children will have instruction time, snacks, outside play, and occassional field trips.

MLK, Jr. After School Tutoring Program
Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 6:30pm
The Parks and Recreation Department offers an after school tutoring program for City residents. Other requirements must also be met. Children are picked up from Southside Elementary and Emma Love Hardee Elementary by City staff daily. Homework help and snacks are provided. Camp Amelia After School Care
The Parks and Recreation Department offers after school care for grades K - 5th during the school year. Children receive homework assistance and a snack. Camp instructors are DCF certified.
