Welcome to City of Fernandina Beach Parks & Recreation!

Fernandina Beach Parks and Recreation is committed to enriching the quality of life through exceptional programs, parks, and other facilities, while preserving the community’s natural environment for the enjoyment of our citizens.

Through 3 locations, the Atlantic Recreation Center, the Peck Center, and the MLK Jr Recreation Center, we offer or co-sponsor various adult and youth sports and activities; aquatics programs and swim lessons; youth afterschool programs, preschool and summer camps; instructed programs; and special events.

If you are interested in more information on any of these programs, please stop by the Atlantic Recreation Center at 2500 Atlantic Avenue, give us a call at 904-310-3350 or check out the links and flyers featured here on the website.

We accept credit card payments for programs and rentals by phone.

Beginning October 1, 2021, the Parks and Recreation Department’s credit card payment processing company will begin charging a nonrefundable service fee of 2.55% with a minimum charge of $2.00 for the use of a debit or credit card in person, online, or by phone (the City will not retain any portion of this fee).  To avoid this Service Fee you are welcome to pay by cash or check.

Beginning November 1, 2022, the Parks and Recreation Department will be assessing a Non-City user fee. This is an annual fee for all Non-City users purchasing a membership or participating in a City-run program. The cost is $30.00 per participant.
